Abstract

Abstrak

Kesan estetis adalah suatu hal yang bersifat abstrak dan dapat berbeda bagi setiap orang.Tidak ada standarisasi atau tolak ukur yang jelas mengenai syarat ”“ syarat yang harus dipenuhi dalam suatu desain dalam hal kesan estetis agar desain tersebut dapat disebut sebagai desain industri.Muncul permasalahan mengenai penggunaan syarat estetis menurut UU Desain Industri (UUDI) terhadap perlindungan suatu desain industri dan kemudian akibat dari ketiadaan penjelasan terhadap unsur estetis dalam UUDI. Di dalam UUDI sama sekali tidak dijelaskan apa itu kesan estetis, pengertiannya, tolak ukur atau standarisasinya, sedangkan salah satu unsur penting agar suatu desain dapat dikategorikan sebagai desain industri yaitu dengan memiliki kesan estetis didalamnya.
