Peer Review Process
Manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Wawasan Yuridika (JWY) will first be reviewed by the editor to determine whether the manuscript format is in accordance with the writing guidelines of Jurnal Wawasan Yuridika (JWY). Manuscripts that are in accordance with the guidelines for writing Jurnal Wawasan Yuridika (JWY) will be reviewed by independent reviewers who are competent in their fields according to focus and scope. The review process is carried out professionally and impartially by emphasizing the double blind review process to maintain objectivity. The review process will take 2 weeks at the earliest, but sometimes depends on revisions from the reviewer. During the submission, review, revision, resubmission, and production process, authors will be informed through http://ejournal.sthb.ac.id/index.php/jwy/. The final decision on manuscript acceptance is made by the editor based on the comments of the independent reviewers.
Reviewers work independently and professionally by upholding the code of ethics of scientific publications as Reviewers. The peer-review process for Jurnal Wawasan Yuridika (JWY) articles is as follows:
- Reviewers conduct a review and examination of the incoming manuscript to see whether it is in accordance with their expertise in their field of knowledge. The reviewer has the right to refuse if it is not in accordance with his expertise and competence, and the Section Editor can transfer to another suitable reviewer.
- Articles that are reviewed are double blind review articles (without the identity of the author and reviewer).
- Reviewers review the manuscript based on the substance of the article within a maximum period of 4 weeks after the article is received. If within this period the article review has not been completed, the reviewer must confirm to the Editor in Chief.
- During the manuscript review process, reviewers provide an assessment of the article through the review form / checklist available in this electronic journal application.
- The reviewed article is returned to the Section Editor.
- The reviewer makes a decision on the reviewed article, among others:
- Accept Submission (manuscript is accepted)
- Revisions Required (the manuscript needs to be revised by the author and returned to the Reviewer)
- Resubmit for Review (the manuscript should be reviewed by another Reviewer)
- Resubmit Elsewhere (the manuscript should be sent to another journal publisher)
- Decline Submission (article is rejected)

To check for plagiarism, the Editor will check the manuscript with the help of Turnitin software. If any indication of plagiarism is found, the editor will immediately reject the article.
